Summer Workshop 2017

This year's PhD Candidate Summer Workshop went off without a hitch on 7-11 Aug 2017! Through this workshop, prospective students from different jurisdictions and areas of interests get to experience life in Hong Kong and look into the possibility of doing a PhD at CUHK Law.

This year, a dozen elite individuals from prestigious universities all around the world participated in this five-day programme, which included a number of thematic seminars and workshops, gaining invaluable insights on drafting successful research proposals and the career prospects of a PhD candidate.

In addition to these academic sessions, these elite candidates also had the chance to tour the CUHK campus, Hong Kong's High Court and Hong Kong itself, not to mention a memorable dinner cruise on Victoria Harbour.

At the end of the workshop, participants presented and received helpful feedback from CUHK law professors and PhD students on their draft research proposals.
